The Lord is saying we have been in a particular spot for too long and it is time to come up spiritually, intellectually, financially, and in every area of our lives where there has been stagnancy.

The Lord is saying I Am the One giving you the invitation. From Revelation 4:1 He says I need you to move up to the next level.

‘Come’ means an invitation or a command. It means where you are, is not where the one calling wants you to be. If you are down spiritually the Lord is commanding you to come up. If you have stood still for too long and made no obvious progress the Lord is saying to you – stand up, make a move to the next level of your life.

He is saying you are coming up to a distinction from average grades. Financially you are coming up to more than enough to live upon from barely enough. Begin to say to yourself, ‘Yes Lord! I am coming up’. Let every hope begin to rise.

Jesus is the one making the invitation and the promise. Jesus came to offer Himself and He tore the curtain to allow us enter into God’s presence without a go-between.

When He walked the earth, Jesus wasn’t liked by many. Yet He was loved by some such as John who was isolated after the death of Christ and taken to the island of Patmos where he was asked to deny Jesus, but he stood firm and refused. Praise God!

What is our attitude to God? Is our service unto the Lord our priority? We need to hand Him the boat of our lives so He can use us to be a light to our communities and work places, and so He can tell us the way of success to go.

That income that seems to be drying up, God will send His Word and it will come alive in Jesus name. The Lord will not just open the door but will give us helpers so we won’t suffer any loss.

There is no other way to go higher than to go up to the Lord. We all need to hear the Word of the Lord and quit banging our head on the wrong door. He wants to show us things to come and He doesn’t want us to compromise.

Lastly our Lord is saying He is the Door (John 10: 10). There is abundance of life in Him. Just be in His presence and then goodness and mercy will chase you all the days of your life in Jesus name.
