Love Revolution – The Door

In John 10, Jesus described Himself as ‘The Door’ who came so that we might have life in abundance. As He is The Door, those who live through Him become doors through whom others get to know Him.

Doors are barriers for entrance or exit. Also, doors are built for specific purposes or usability such as – revolving doors, sliding doors, entrance doors, exit doors.

What type of door are you?  What type of doors are those around you? When people come into your life, do things begin to happen for good or bad?

There are doors that lead to destruction, total loss or terminations. If you have been going through a revolving door, the Lord will become a Door for you today to end that situation in Jesus name.

Because we have chosen to go through Jesus the Door, He will enable us retrace our steps to life in Jesus name. We will hear the voice of God. We will not hear the voice of strangers. So say to yourself ‘I am coming out of sickness, failure and poverty, and I am coming to life’.

One door can open up to many other doors. From Daniel 2:49 we learn that there is a type of key person that sits at the door of destiny. Daniel knew that the king goes through the palace door where he sat, so he was well placed and able to influence the door’s opening for Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego.

Daniel was distinguished and could not be brought down because he had an excellent spirit. There was no error found in him. He chose to open the door for his mates because he was wise. He was opening doors for other people – making things happen for others, thus spreading the influence and reach of the Kingdom of God.

May our case be like the case of Daniel as workers, fathers, mothers, children and in all our roles. We need the same spirit of God that worked in him. The one who can give us that spirit is the one who is the Spirit.

If you defile yourself then you cannot thrive in the Spirit. You must keep your eyes from evil and ears from gossip and learn to speak the language of heaven which is love.
